The project will focus on out-of- camp Syrian women from 15 years of age and over under temporary protection status (TPS) in seven cities across Turkey with different demographic structures and migration characteristics. The project to be conducted in Hatay, Adana, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, İstanbul, Konya and İzmir will focus on the participation of Syrian girls and women to social life, their income generation and their coping mechanisms with the integration process for the measurement of their integration level to Turkey. The objectives of the project also include the determination of the interaction of the refugee women with the local people in different regions as well as the provision of gender sensitive social services.
In the methodology of the project, qualitative and quantitaive research methods will be used together. In this manner, 1200 questionnaires, 100 in-depth interviews and 34 focus group discussions will be conducted in the project cities.
