ASSESMENT OF LIVELIHOOD OPPORTUNITIES OF SYRIANS PROJECT

In preparation for IBRD’s implementation of the Facility funded projects, a qualitative assessment is planned to be undertaken as a first step in order to understand livelihood and labor market opportunities and challenges faced by SuTP and host communities in Turkey. The proposed qualitative analysis will examine the main social, cultural and economic barriers faced by SuTP for labor market integration and the major effects/challenges and opportunities for the host communities through focus group discussions, in-depth and key informant interviews.

The project is conducted in Ankara, Izmir, Gaziantep and Hatay between 10/31/2016 and 06/30/2017 and funded by the World Bank.
